95 Points - William Kelley (robertparker.com) "From one of the oldest vineyards in the Santa Maria Valley, Paul Lato’s superb 2016 Chardonnay le Souvenir Sierra Madre Vineyard reveals attractive aromas of yellow orchard fruit, citrus zest, peach and honeycomb. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, with more textural glossiness than the Belle de Jour, underpinned by bright acids and concluding with an intense, chalky finish. This is quite structurally tight-knit right now and will need a couple of years in the cellar to blossom."
97+ Points - Jeb Dunnuck "Coming from a terrific site located at the southern end of the Santa Lucia Highlands, the 2016 Chardonnay East of Eden Pisoni Vineyard boasts phenomenal notes of ripe citrus and white peach fruits, white flowers, and freshly crushed rocks. It's clean, incredibly pure, and elegant on the palate, with a level of tension and vibrancy you don't find too often in the vintage. I followed this bottle for two days and it only improved with air. It's a brilliant Chardonnay from Lato that’s going to benefit from a year or two of bottle age and age gracefully for a decade or more. Don’t miss it!"
95-97 Points - Robert Parker "The 2014 Chardonnay Ellen Lane Estate exhibits more gravelly, wet pebble notes and loads of uplifted aromatics, including peach, pineapple, orange rind and lemon blossom. It is again a complex style of Chardonnay made from a cold microclimate."
92 Points - Jame Suckling "Tight and structured with green peppercorns, dried flowers and dark fruits that follow through to a medium to full body, firm tannins and a fresh finish. From biodynamically-grown grapes."
95 Points - Antonio Galloni "The 2015 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard is bold and racy, but also shows a good bit of freshness.
Dark cherry, plum, lavender, mint, violet and sweet spices are front and center.
Pliant and ripe, but with good supporting energy, the 2015 is all about balance."

Possessing a great nose of black raspberries, kirsch, violet, and forest floor, the 2016 Pinot Noir Freestone-Occidental is bright and juicy, with elegance and beautiful purity of fruit. Showing fine tannins, a lovely floral quality, integrated acidity, and a great finish, this is pure class.
Winemakers notes "Much like the 2016 Campbell Syrah, the aromas of the Peters are monumental. Violet, lavender, tar with added notes of green peppercorn and baking spices show off in the aromas. Here there is more precision and penetrating flavors. A wine with deep and intense flavors, it remains light on its feet thanks to this cool coastal site’s high acids and rounded tannins. Every year Peters Syrah reminds us of the purity and grandness of this site — and Syrah in general in coastal California."
Robert Parker "The 2017 Chardonnay Los Alamos Vineyard, made using 15% new oak, has an open nose of toast, hazelnut and river stone with quince, warm white peach, honeycomb, honeysuckle and citrus peel. Light to medium-bodied, it has a wonderful core of warm, savory accented fruits, with juicy acidity and a long, layered finish. "
Jeb Dunnuck "Starting out, the 2017 Chardonnay Los Alamos Vineyard comes from the sandy soils of the Los Alamos region and spent 15 months in 10% new French oak. Its medium gold color is followed by a gorgeous bouquet of caramelized stone fruits, white flowers, honeysuckle, and brioche. Rich, medium-bodied, and textured, with good acidity and terrific balance, it's a gem of a Chardonnay to enjoy over the coming 4-5 years.'
Antonio Galloni "The 2017 Chardonnay Los Alamos Vineyard is a very pretty wine. In 2017, Los Alamos Chardonnay has a bit more textural weight than it usually has, which is not a bad thing at all for this wine, which tends to be decidely airy. Lemon confit, white flowers, mint and orchard fruit flavors all flesh out in a very pretty, lively Chardonnay loaded with class."
Chanin's 2014 Pinot Noir Los Alamos Vineyard is gracious, aromatic and nicely lifted, all signatures of the sandy soils on this site. The fruit is forward and juicy, with just a dollop of whole clusters that adds balance and intrigue.
93 Points - Jeb Dunnuck (erobertparker.com) "Plums, passion fruit, spring flowers and hints of violet all emerge from the silky, beautifully polished 2014 Pinot Noir Los Alamos Vineyard, which comes from very sandy soils located just outside of Los Alamos. It spent 12 months in a tiny 12% of new French oak. Medium-bodied and exceedingly elegant, with beautifully polished tannin, it should evolve nicely for a decade."
