Alex Peel, Greenock Creek’s new winemaker has a great past and a bright future ahead of him. Having completed his Bachelor of Oenology Degree in 2014 and spending his final year of work placement at Grant Burge wines Alex knew winemaker was the right path for him. He went on to work as a assistant winemaker for Ross Estate for ten years before being poached to work at the historic Chateau Yaldara as chief winemaker. Alex now has the exciting opportunity to nurture a range of well loved and established wines at Greenock Creek.
This 45 minute masterclass will run from 10am on Saturday 23rd May during our tasting at OXO II. Please ensure you arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of the event.
Please purchase all of your tasting tickets in one online order. Please DO NOT purchase wine along with your tickets.
Please ensure the name of the person (or persons) attending the event is recorded in the ‘Delivery Note’ box at checkout. To save refusal, we must ensure your name(s) are on our guestlist.
There is no waiting list for tickets, and no facility for tickets to be held. We recommend purchasing any tickets asap to avoid disappointment.
- A Masterclass ticket must be purchased in addition to a tasting ticket for the main room and a tasting ticket does not entitle you to attend a Masterclass.
- All masterclass tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. We cannot change any tickets to an alternative masterclass. The funds from any cancelled tickets will be donated to the Australian Bushfire appeal.
- However, and in the unlikely event of the winemaker being unable to travel to the UK, we regret that the masterclass will be cancelled. A full refund will be issued forthwith.
- Should we not reach our minimum numbers of attendees for each respective masterclass, unfortunately we will cancel the masterclass. You will be notified accordingly, and the full ticket value refunded.
