A legendary 100% Pinot Noir single vineyard, flagship wine from Billecart-Salmon. The 1998 beautifully emerges from a tiny, one hectare plot that was planted with 100% Pinot Noir in 1964. Astonishingly elegant with a delicate notes of biscuit, honey, acacia and roasted nuts are woven into a fine, seamless Champagne that is a must-have wine for those lucky enough to find it.
This cuvee, hallmarked by chalk and its alluvial soil, stands out for the complexity of its aromas. Characterised by the depth of the grilled, empyreumatic aromas (dried fruits, toasted bread), softened by notes of ripened quince and orchard fruit. The palate offers an incredibly powerful and tactile dimension.
