Dark cherry colour. Ripe, spicy dark fruit. The nose promises much but on the palate it is rather chewy and pretty dry on the finish.

Loads of red and black fruits, hints of sandalwood, incense and dried flowers emerge from the 2017 Château Grand Mayne. Medium to full-bodied, ripe, and rounded on the palate, I love its tannin quality. With rock solid mid-palate depth and plenty of length, it should end up being an outstanding wine.
