Château Haut-Bergey sits in the heart of the Pessac Léognan appellation close to Domaine de Chevalier. The Château produces mainly red wine, around 4,500 cases per year (Almost 50/50 Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend) a white wine named Château Haut-Bergey Blanc (A Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon blend) and a very small amount of rosé, named Cuvé Paul. It was taken over in 1991 by Sylviane Garcin-Cathiard and her husband Gaston and today, the estate is managed by Sylviane’s daughter, Helene Garcin-Levesque and consultant oenologist, Dr Alain Raynaud. In addition to Château Haut Bergey, the Garcin-Cathiard family also own Château Branon, Château Barde Haut and Château Poesia and Clos L’Eglise. Château Haut-Bergey also produces a second wine, L’Etoile de Bergey.
