Crafted from the finest French grain spirit and distilled in a copper pot (in the same manner as malt whisky), Daffy's is made using the finest botanicals which are steeped and distilled including the traditional juniper, coriander seeds and cassia bark alongside the more unusual Lebanese mint and rare variety lemons.
It has been bottled at a very specific 43.4% ABV as the team behind Daffy's believe this gives the perfect balance of strength and flavour. Deeply complex and well balanced, it is best served straight over ice where you can fully appreciated what Daffy's are all about!
On the nose Daffy's is fresh, woody, floral and toffee. Fruity and full of life. Oriental pine forest by the sea with a breathtaking view. The palate displays smooth and vibrant spice with oaky mouthfeel, leading to lively citrus and Lebanese mint then to red fruit followed by juniper. From the depth of fine juniper & Lebanese mint to a long, buttery, warm & elegant finish – enchanting to the end.
The team at Daffy's have spent 4 years on a quest to create a gin like no other - one of the finest quality available, using the very best botanicals as well as some new to the world of gin. They started by using the finest pure wheat grain spirit from northern France, then, distilled it in the same manner as malt whisky on an ancient copper pot still. The botanicals that they steep and distil are a combination of the tradition - juniper, coriander seeds, cassia bark and the new - Lebanese mint and rare variety lemons.
