96+ Points - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (erobertparker.com) "The 2014 Chardonnay Estate Vineyard reveals very pretty notes of peach blossoms and candied ginger over a core of nectarines, acacia honey, baking bread and marzipan. Medium-bodied with a silken texture and wonderful intensity of yeasty/savory flavors, it has a great frame of freshness and epic length. A beautiful, truly elegant style. "

The nose is very intense and does require a good hour in a decanter to unlock its captivating bouquet of dark berries, bilberry and sous-bois. The palate is medium-bodied exquisitely balanced with ultra-fine tannins. At times the ‘Finn’ comes across as something very powerful, at other times sensory. Certainly, a mercurial Pinot Noir which washes effortlessly across your palate. Extraordinary, a moving wine and nigh on perfection.

The 2012 Pinot Noir Aidan (445 cases) emerges from Dijon clones 115 and 777 planted in the cool Wild Rose Vineyard in the Russian River. This beauty reveals notes of strawberry jam, plums, blackcurrants, cherries, resiny pine forest, unsmoked cigar tobacco and a hint of cloves. Fresh, full-bodied and complex, it should drink well for a decade.

The 2010 Syrah Eddie’s Patch represents great Syrah. Aged 17 months on its lees in 43% new French oak, this inky/purple-colored Syrah offers a big, sweet kiss of charcoal, truffle, blackberries, licorice, roasted meats and bouquet garni. The blackberry component continues on the palate of this full-bodied, superbly textured, rich, savory Syrah. Drink this mouthfilling 2010 over the next decade or more.

The 2012 Syrah Eddie’s Patch (a 410-case, 100% Syrah aged 18 months in 40% new French oak hogsheads) comes from 16-year-old Syrah vines. Aromas of bouquet garni, roasted meats, blackberries and blackcurrants soar from the glass of this blue/black-colored Syrah. Full-bodied with olive tapenade notes, sweet tannin and an expansive, multilayered mouthfeel, this fabulous Syrah should be drunk over the next 12-15+ years.

The 2015 Chardonnay Estate Vineyard is another steely, concentrated, almost austere wine from the estate that’s going to demand cellaring. Dried herbs, citrus, white flowers, and salty minerality give way to a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, backward Chardonnay that has awesome potential, yet needs another year of bottle age.

Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Estate Vineyard is beautifully scented of red roses, oolong tea, dusty soil and cinnamon stick with touches of cranberries, rhubarb and fungi. It displays incredible structure on the medium-bodied palate with very firm, very ripe tannins and an electric backbone of freshness supporting the densely packed perfumed red fruits, finishing with great length and depth.
