To a perennial favourite with our in-store customers is Château Sénéjac, which we are delighted to offer and highly recommend at £112.00 IB per case.
The 2016 Sénéjac is exquisite. Sweet tobacco, mint, grilled herbs and dark red fruit give the 2016 is a striking interplay of aromatic intensity and palate presence. Powerful and deep, the 2016 offers notable depth yet also remains quite finessed for the year. Layers of fruit build into a long finish laced with expressive savory and earth-driven tones. This is an especially delicate style for the year.
Dense and layered with blueberry and chocolate character. Medium body, fine tannins and a flavorful finish. Racy and refined already.
Relaxed, well-integrated, ripe nose. Sweet, purple fruits and quite a bit of both acid and tannin but just the right side of rasping. A success on a bourgeois scale. Lovely fresh confidence. GV?

The 2016 Sénéjac has an attractive bouquet with floral-tinged red and black fruit—strawberry pastilles and just a touch of bay leaf, nicely defined and gaining intensity with aeration. The palate is very well balanced with fine tannin, well-judged acidity, very harmonious with assiduous use of new oak. This is a very stylish Haut-Médoc, one of the best that I have tasted in many years. This comes highly recommended.
