92-94 Points - Antonio Galloni (Vinous) "Orange peel, smoke, spices, mint and apricot pit flesh out in the 2013 Chardonnay Camp Meeting Ridge Vineyard. Bold and textured in its flavors but classically mid-weight in style, the 2013 captures a hugely attractive middle ground."
Antonio Galloni (Vinous) - "The 2014 Pinot Noir Camp Meeting Ridge is pretty, harmonious and super-expressive. Sweet red cherry, sage, tobacco, anise and rose petal all meld together nicely. Soft, understated and delicate, the 2014 offers a striking interplay of floral/savory aromatics and pliant fruit. There is plenty to enjoy here over the near and medium term."
94 Points - James Suckling "Quite bright, fine and elegant on the nose. The complexity is subtly delivered, with lime and lemon citrus as the focus on the nose. The palate has lime sorbet flavor, really fine, focused acidity and a great sense of evenness. The duality of power and grace is quite masterfully delivered. Drink now or age for a further five years to catch this at its best." Tasted 10/7/15
Simply exquisite! The nose gives everything to love about vintage Champagne and can almost satisfy one just sitting there and smelling, getting lost in its dense, bready aromas. They fill the glass (Zalto universal) with toasted brioche, oatmeal, grapefruit peel and bruised apple. The years in bottle have done wonders, creating a rich toasty, almost creamy palate, generous and concentrated, supported by perfectly judged acidity keeping the whole experience fresh and vibrant with flavours of citrus peel and a touch of sherbet lemon. The wine continues to evolve in the glass and it is recommended leaving the bottle out of the fridge after opening allowing it to keep developing, each glass more satisfying than the last and an easy bottle to finish. It's drinking so well now but will continue for many more years. Only produced in the very best years, just ten vintages in the last thirty, this is truly magnificent wine and mind blowing for the price.
