Four Pillars

For the second time in three years Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin has won Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. This is an incredible result at what is the world’s most competitive and influential spirits competition.

To win Double Gold once, in 2014, might have been seen as good fortune, but to win a second Double Gold just two years later with the same gin, firmly puts Four Pillars on the dais as one of the great gins of the world.

Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin is made in a small distillery in Yarra Valley, Australia. Everything the Four Pillars distillers make is based around their 'four pillars’. Number 1 is their copper pot still named Wilma, Number 2 is the water; triple filtered from the Yarra Valley and Number 3 is the botanicals they use; local Tasmanian pepper-berry and lemon myrtle alongside exotic cinnamon, cardamom and star anise with the classic juniper, lavender and angelica root, and finally Number 4 is love; the distillers love what they do and what they have made.
