The back strapping 2005 Shiraz “House Block – Rare” is purple/black in color. It reveals aromas of cedar, wood smoke, cassis, blackberry, and blueberry compote. Full-bodied, thick, and rich, this opulent wine is nearly over the top. Intense, powerful, and very long in the finish, it can be drunk over the next 10-12 years.
Branson Coach House was purchased by Two Hands Wine in 2001 after the original proprietor Malcolm Aspden passed away. The wine we know today is made by the same winemaker from Two Hands, Matt Wenk.
