Château Climens is available at a very respectable £515.00 IB per case however, we would urge you to pay £530.00 and opt for a case of halves.

93-95+ Neal Martin
This Coutet '14 has a complex bouquet with razor-sharp, minerally, citrus fruit mixed with wild honey and a touch of Riesling-like petrol. The palate is totally convincing. There is a great thrust of rich botrytized fruit sliced through with Coutet’s trademark acidity, despite the spoonfuls of sugar, that lends this such vibrancy and tension. It possesses and almost clinical precision with long persistence on the finish. This is a divine Coutet.
The sweet wines of Bordeaux are superb in 2015 and one of the leading Barsac properties, Château Coutet is released at £285.00 IB per case however, we advise customers to pay a little more and opt for them in half bottles. A case of 24 x half bottles is available at £300.00.
Coutet has received consistently good scores from all the critics – 94-95 James Suckling, 94-97 James Molesworth, 95 from Tim Atkin MW and 92 from Decanter.
Château Doisy Daëne is released at £280.00 IB per case, which comes highly recommended.
Jancis Robinson awards a mightily impressive 18.5 which places half a mark off Château d’Yquem and above the inevitably more expensive releases from Coutet, Climens and Rieussec “Bright greenish gold. Complex, immediately appealing nose. Racy yet with weight. A very superior wine. Real attack and structure. I wonder what L'Extravagant is like?! Really very rewarding and compelling. Lots of substance but not at all heavy. Such drive and energy here!”
The 2009 Doisy-Vedrines exceeded my expectations under blind conditions. It is usually seen as a less refined Barsac predisposed to richness and viscosity, but the 2009 exudes far more tension and elegance than I anticipated. It has a perfumed, floral bouquet with scents of dried honey, melted wax, lemon curd and a touch of lemon thyme. It is beautifully defined and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with beautiful balance and precision. There is real grace and tension in this Sauternes: very focused and precise though with patently a lot of botrytis towards the mellifluous finish. This is a wonderful Doisy-Vedrines. Drink now-2035+.

Released at £117.50 IB per case of 12x37.5cl (half bottles), not only does this represent extraordinary value (half the price of Climens) but when you compare the critics scores / reviews, it makes this almost too good to be true...
The superb Sauternes Château Doisy-Védrines has again produced one of the best wines of the vintage and offers remarkable value for money at £250.00 IB per case or £265.00 IB per case of half bottles.
James Suckling awards 95-96 Points - “This has phenolic tension and power with so much dried fruit character from pineapple to mango. Full, medium sweet and lively. Really excellent”.
The exciting Château Fieuzal ‘Blanc’ has produced an outstanding wine in 2015 and is offered at £310.00 IB per case.
James Suckling awards a huge 95-96 and believes the ’15 to be one of the best vintages from Fieuzal for quite some while. Neal Martin’s score is less enthusiastic, (90-92) however Neal summarises the wine as a “classy crowd-pleaser”.
