Meet some of the key people behind The Vinorium and Z&B Vintners
Founder & Director
Without Stuart’s commitment, energy and relentless drive, Z&B Vintners / The Vinorium would not be where it is today. Stuart has spent close to 25 years in the wine trade and despite his wealth of expertise; he is very much a hands-on owner / Director. Stuart’s main responsibility (putting the running of our company aside) is the buying of all our wines; from Bordeaux En-Primeur to establishing new UK exclusivities.
Outside of wine, Stuart is a competitive road cyclist and, after taking too many years out for the benefit of our company, is re-emerging as a mountaineer with some big mountain plans. We strongly suggest a visit to Stuart’s website www.stuartmccloskey.com where you will find some truly stunning high-altitude photos taken whilst climbing in the Himalaya and beyond.
Stuart has an incredible weakness for all wines but places 2009 Château Ausone & 2010 Vieux Château Certan as his two current favourites. Pinot Noir from RAEN, By Farr, DuMOL, Paul Lato, Devotus and Chardonnay from Flowstone, Deep Woods and Chanin are missing from our shelves on a weekly basis...
Michelle has a wealth of experience, having previously spent five years with the excellent Rhone specialists, Yapp Brothers. January 2018, celebrates an additional five year milestone with our company. Michelle has been an extraordinary asset from day one and led the operations and accounting aspect of our company superbly.
Outside of work she enjoys trying new wines, cooking, long walks with the dogs, shopping and hunting out restaurants that have excellent vegetarian menus (which can prove quite a task!)

James is responsible for all our in-house, website and e-marketing design, which we believe he does a fantastic job. More recently, he has taken on the complex role of online marketing and search engine optimisation, which is at the forefront of creating our online presence.

Natalie / Jody Client Services & Logistics
Natalie and Jody both joined the team at The Vinorium in 2017 and brought with them many years of customer service, retail and administration experience. Their roles are focused on delivering our customers the best possible level of service and ensuring that their wines are well cared for. This involves answering queries, booking deliveries and keeping everyone up to date on their latest orders. They are also both responsible for looking after all aspects of the logistics side of the business which includes getting new wines added to the website, shipping trade orders and updating our stock listings.
Outside of work Natalie loves to read and watch films although most of her time is actually spent running around after her two small children! Jody enjoys the cinema, music gigs and skiing.

Having served over 30 years in the RAF, I have gained invaluable skill sets and knowledge in the admin and accounts fields, both within the UK and overseas. During this time I’ve been fortunate to work with many foreign nationals and experience their unique cultures. During the last 5 years I have transferred these skill sets into the private sector.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling (generally road trips), motorcycling, and watching TV dramas. Also I enjoy listening to music and keeping fit in a local gym. My other passion is football and keeping a close eye on my team’s results (although this can be stressful)..
