Situated in the Northwest of the USA, Washington is known as the 2nd largest premium wine producer in the United States after California, with over 900 wineries located across the state. The region produces good quality wines from a range of grape varieties and is planted with almost exactly a 50/50 split of red and white grapes. The most common are Riesling and Chardonnay for the whites and Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah for the reds. Two of our favourite producers from Washington are the Betz Family Winery and Gramercy Cellars.
Zalto Denk-Art Universal Glass
For richer, oaked Sauvignon Blancs such as The Fuder, white Graves or Semillon/Sauvignon blends. For young and non-vintage Champagne we recommend Zalto Universal. However, the Zalto Universal is a very good all-rounder, designed for all types of wines but may not maximize the potential of certain wine as much as the Bordeaux or Burgundy glass.
