As per our earlier communication, our largest Zalto order is set to be with us in around four-weeks. We have triple checked their delivery schedule as, and despite your fabulous patience, we do not want a repeat performance of 2021 / 2022. Zalto response is upbeat and positive, “Yours is definitely due to leave Austria next month. So, I cannot see any reason why it will not be with you within 4 weeks of now. As far as I know today - you should receive the complete order you placed.” Our order is huge – 1,092 glasses with the addition of decanters. However, sales are already arriving from our trade customers. One of our restaurant clients has snapped up 42 six-packs (essentially 25% of our total order). Nonetheless, there is plenty available for you… For the first time, we have also ordered a small quantity of Zalto’s Digestif, Water (Stem) and Beer stemware however, we will not offer these until we take physical possession. We are only releasing 50-percent of the remainder of our order today – the remainder will be available once they have arrived at our HQ warehouse.
New Zalto Pricing There are substantial increases across the entire range. For example, RRPs for both the Bordeaux and Burgundy stems have risen from £45.00 to £52.00 and £52.50. Universal from £43.50 to £50.00. We believe the prices are justifiable and compared to Riedel’s handblown range, remain a relative bargain. Yet, we feel it’s not necessarily the right time to increase prices by circa 15%. Instead, and in all respect to Zalto RRPs, we will release all stemware at or very close to last year’s prices. Principally, we will absorb the loss of profit. As a point of reference, we will show Zalto’s new RRPs on each product. Important note: our next delivery / allocation will be sold at the new RRPs.
Important: Zalto Terms and Conditions of Sale We guarantee the condition of Zalto glassware against defects of manufacture and materials however, you must advise us within 7 days of the delivery date if you find a defect. You must examine the condition of all glassware once in receipt of the same and immediately contact us if you have cause for concern. We will replace or refund any faulty or damaged glassware however, you must notify us within 7 days of the delivery date. Please keep all original packaging and provide photographs of the damage. We are not liable for any claim for loss, damage or shortcomings unless we are notified within 7 days. • We are not liable for any claims of accidental damage once you have accepted safe receipt within the 7 day notice period. This includes accidental damage during the washing and drying process. DeliveryWe are suggesting an onward delivery date of early March.
