Mike Bennie, The Wine Front "The thirteenth time this has been produced in 28 vintages, the back label lets me know. The Original Vineyard shiraz is the star but some Alan’s Cabernet pressings goes in too. New French oak is the deal. The rest is legend.
It’s a kaleidoscopic wine. Multi-dimensional. It’s as big as they get, a testament to fine, bold architecture, modern Brutalist but done so well. Chunky and chewy, lavish in spicy tannins and concentrated as midnight in the darkest places. Ripe plum, roast meats, dried herbs, liquorice, cola, char and truffles, choc and mushroom. It’s hedonistic and ballistic but geez, how does that balance work? Sips are in Dolby Surround Sound and more. It’s epic. And in that, wonderfully done. It’s not elegant, but crikey, it is impressive in how it holds its swagger."

- In Bond: Exclude UK Duty and VAT, and can either be delivered to a UK bonded warehouse in the UK, or released for international delivery.
- Duty Paid: UK Duty @ £26.78 per 9 litres and VAT @ 20% has been paid.
Wines are only available in whole, unmixed cases unless otherwise stated.
